Ha! It worked! Thanks!

Another way to do it is to find the post you want to quote and then hit the "quote" button in the top right corner of that post.

Maybe we will wait till the need grows.

Those mentioned would likely be good mods.

Allow me to respond to my nomination. I humbly accept these nominations and I will gladly take the position if given to me but I must disclose a few things first.

My talents would be much better suited for site administration and for IT procurement. I would pitch and integrate new features to libertariansforum and delegate ad publishing services and interact with users on site related matters.

However, As a mod, all I would do is move spam threads. That's all. I would only restrict users who abuse the server. I would not regulate any non-spam content at all, especially since users are not asinine insecure wikis. As I've said in my appreciation thread, I like the fact that we don't need content regulation aside from some foul language as this affects an agreement with google ads.

I would like to nominate Liberaltarian, LibertarianFTW and NorthernLiberty under the assumption that they too would not moderate content as I don't think this is what anyone of us would do.

If anyone wants to make me mod, I suggest we wait a few months. I don't want any new comers to see disagreements with me and ""liberty"land" and feel as if they are going to have to answer to me as someone who has power over the forum and not as someone who is merely a poster. It would be bad PR to make any of the hotheads here at libertariansforum mod.

And one final thing I'd like to disclose; I may have to resign sooner or later for unrelated impersonal reasons anyways if I were made mod.

If looking for new mods to regulate content is what this is all about, then I nominate nobody.

An example of what I'd do as mod. I would move content from this thread http://www.libertariansforum.com/cgi-bin/freedom/YaBB.pl?num=1300133609 over to this one http://www.libertariansforum.com/cgi-bin/freedom/YaBB.pl?num=1264714295 or just move the topic to information board.

Like I said before, you can't be trusted.

If you can't keep your vandalizing paws off of my wiki, what makes you think we can trust you with mod powers???

What nomination? Where?

If you are referring to the 1 time you were mentioned, see here:

Liberaltarian would probably be good, and perhaps TomHog.

LibertarianFTW latter retracted the mere semi-endorsement here:

Oh, that's true about the vandalization... maybe that's not the best sign. Tongue

So no, you were never "nominated".

Would me becoming a mod help you leave?

Gotcha! That is what we all have been saying, you would unjustly use your mod powers to influence other users.

In other words, you would be an abusive mod.

Does this mean you would leave even if I didn't ban you?
