Sure those positions would cause libertarians cognitive dissonance if they held them.

Your link indicates the much harped upon presence of friendly diplomatic relations between the United States and the horrible dictatorship of Saudi Arabia (they do not even prove the alliance which in fact exists).  How does this relate to ISIS?

On a separate note I would admit ISIS likely recruits from Saudi Arabia, but Saudi Arabia is hardly unique in this regard.

Today, Obama is going to tell the world that it is imperative that US taxpayers and a "coalition of the willing" come to the aid of elitist kingdoms and puppet dictators who have their own armies.

It's to be expected that most US citizens will drink this State Department Kool-Aid.

I would have hoped that libertarians had a little more capacity for independent, critical thinking, than the rest of the populace, but, as far as I can see the only people speaking out against more US intervention are Ron Paul and a few of his hard-core supporters.

No doubt that the Republican critique of Obama's speech tonight will be that he is not proposing enough
intervention.

How much intervention is enough for you, pjkon?

Or are you actually using the Latin "bring me the body" as in "show me the proof?"

Yes.

Prior to Shock and Awe, Bush had low popularity ratings.

Just after Shock and Awe his popularity rating shot to over 80%, the highest recorded for a sitting president.

Can we expect a major bombing campaign against  something or other, just prior to the November election?

Maybe thry're cooking up something like the Cuban Missile Crises. Obama will be cast as JFK.

This, today, by Associated Press columnist Ken Dilianian:

Overlooked terror group targeting US aviation

Yes, another scary new terror group that "poses a more direct and imminent threat to the United States..." called the Khorasan.

"Rep. Adam Schiff, D-California, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, declined to name the group.  But he described  concerns..."

"The CIA refused to confirm the group's name or any details in this story."

Golly gee, this is hot and chilling news, if ever there was any!

Overlooked? You mean we're wasting our money on the NSA and military intelligence agencies, and the FBI and the CIA and DHS? Or is it that Congress and the Executive are just too busy worrying about elections?

Do they have any spare parts for their U.S. made armaments? Or anybody that can fix them?
If we leave them alone, they'll either start killing each other, or somebody in the Middle East, or Russia, will deal with them.
