They were "dumb" bombs and most of them were just wasted. No surprise there.

So, with all you seem to know about current events in the Middle East, you don't know who's funding and arming ISIS?

It seems to me to be an essential question. Do you suppose our government knows? We knew who was funding and arming the North Vietnamese and Vietcong.

Okay.  So, 7,662,000 tons
of explosives dropped on Indochina was no biggie.

Sorry to be so ignorant.  You tell me who is funding ISIS.

Probably some wretched, Axis of Evil, evildoers who have no business being in the Mid-East messing with the US Empire?

The number of people killed is my major concern.

I only have reasonable suspicions about who is funding and arming ISIS, that's why I asked you, because you talk like you know what's going on in the Middle East. I guess you really don't.

Who does have "business being in the Middle East"?

Does the U.N. have a position on this? Oh yes, only Muslims have any business in the Middle East, and it's OK if they raise rogue armies and try to conquer the world in the name of a World Caliphate, which likes to kill anyone who doesn't believe as they do.
And I guess the U.N. approves, because they aren't sanctioning whoever is arming ISIS.

The people who live there, in my very humble opinion.

If you want to continue dropping bombs over there and droning people, I'd wish you'd count me and my tax dollars out.

I thought you wanted to evict the Jews?

I'm not in favor of that, as you should know by now.

You really have no idea who is funding and arming ISIS?

What a crock of crap your comment is, Jeff, and you know that damned well.

Point out some evidence for that statement.

Hmm... apparently it wasn't you talking about "Palestine for the Palestinians!" JW perhaps.
Sorry to get confused at times.

Anyway, still no idea who is funding and arming ISIS?

You tell me.  They seem to be capturing banks and oil supplies and army bases and funding themselves.

OK, captured arms and ammunition will go a ways, and captured banks (Say! Whose money is in those banks anyway?) will provide funding for a while too.
But, who's selling them arms?
I'd say Iran, but I wouldn't count out the Communists either.

Do you think U.S. policy is favoring Iran?

No, if you follow the money the US aids Israel and Egypt, and also provides moral support to Saudi Arabia.

Imho the CIA and State Dept. are still smoldering over the fact that the Iranians managed to kick out the US-installed puppet Shah around 1980.

PS:   Money talks.  Now Germany has arrested a journalist on behalf of the Egyptian military dictatorship.

http://news.antiwar.com/2015/06/21/germany-arrested-al-jazeera-journalist-for-eg...

Reuters doesn't seem to be reporting this.  (And so it goes.)
