Allow them all to compete. Allow the government to compete in programs where it can do it better and more cost effective.
Congratulations, this is the first time in memory you've been right about anything...

The government does not currently have permission to compete with us Citizens. How true.

If our government wants such permission, they should ask Congress for it, or the States... It will take a Constitutional Amendment to provide such permission. Smiley

I know, less that a $Trillion is hardly worth mention these days...

There is a connection to those unionized government workers the government has been "negotiating" with...

Don't worry, our Children and Grandchildren will come up with the money somehow...

And then the pseudo-libertarian starts to erect roadblocks to disqualify the government from the competition. That's what it's all about jeff! Government run universal health care blows the competition right out of the water. You may want to try to claim it's unfair competition?

In the case of single payer health care, government legislates competition out of existence.

Any rational person looking at the evidence can see that centrally planned commanded and controlled government programs fail.

I would compare that to the need for government to stop Christanity from telling lies to children. Your government has partially succeeded in doing that but the creationists keep trying to sneak it back in. Thankfully, your constitution demands that religion keeps out. (separation of church and state) Done deal.

In the sense of universal health care, where is your evidence. I can give you a mountain of evidence to show that government throughout the world does it better. And in fact, goverenment is the only entity that can even succeed in doing it adequately.

Your evidence!

You see jeffy, I'm only going to talk about real libertarianism. That just happens to exclude all your 'pie in the sky' bullshit you try to perp on us. Sure, the earth is only 6000 years old to your kind of libertarian!

Sure, I understand that all religions are a threat to the Marxist religion, and Marxists are all about creating one big monopoly, run by the Party.

This isn't Trumps fault, it was set up by regressives long before Trump was born, and he probably wouldn't be allowed to do anything about it even if he wanted to...

Where on earth does Jeff get the idea that the expropriating property protector, the creature that lives off consuming the products of our labor at gunpoint, would ever have any interest in *competing* in the marketplace to provide goods and services?

You can't even get all the market actors to support free markets. Half of 'business' in the modern 'marketplace' is finding ways to escape that competition.
