Unregistering to Vote

I just road my bike and unregistered to vote at the elections place. I've always been registered since the Bush election, when I voted for Kerry to get rid of Bush, but he won anyone, then Kerry tasered someone for asking if he was in the Skull and Bones.

Well, unregistering to vote is great! Last time I registered to vote, they gave me one of those weird puzzle boxes from Hellraiser movie franchise. Each side was a different party. One side was even libertarian. No matter how I turned it, hooks flew out attached to chains and pulled at my skin. I finally just returned that puzzle to the elections building.

Living without politic hooks attached to chains from an evil puzzle box might just be better. After all, from what I know, Libertarians are no more libertarian than Stalin was socialist. You have to imagine elitism whenever you talk about party politics.

Are you unregistered to vote or just now registered as unaffiliated?  I'm not sure why you would bother unregistering when you could have just stopped voting.

If you thought John Kerry would be a good president, it's good news to all that you've vowed to never note again!

That is what you are promising isn't it? If so, thank you.

Unregistered to vote period. I am not currently able to vote, if there was an election, because I filled out the "unregister form".  It's a shorter form that removed you entirely.

I didnt enjoy Bush babbling, and when he was elected, I was living in Germany, so I experienced anti-Americanism and harassment regarding Bush, who I considered a fairly stupid rich guy whose family name and money got him into Harvard, et al. I would have just assumed he would go away after Iraq, but wanted to help him along. Amazingly he was reelected.

I guess now after watching John Kerry get older, seeing him support the NSA, his desire to intervene in Latin American elections, and the Democrats in general positioning us to fight Russia and intervene further in Syria has caused me to really block out Democrats.

Only back in the day, it seemed better to toss Bush. I still stand by my decision on that one, even though Kerry's last name is an assumed one.

Furthermore, Bush was a Yankee born in Connecticut with an affected Texas accent.

You thought John Kerry made sense? Would you care to explain how?

To me also, but I voted for libertarians instead of Kerry. If Bush and Kerry would have been the only options, I would have written in Ron Paul. Smiley

You very likely helped get Obama elected...

To me Ron Paul is just another Yankee from Pittsburgh who moved to Texas. Give me a real Texan for president, not another Ted Cruz transplant from up north. Give me Lyndon B. Johnson.  I will vote for Tommy Lee Jones. Wink

Better to vote for a Real Yankee with his Yacht than to vote for a Fake Texan with his oil ranch. As the Irish say, the devil you know is better than the one you don't know, and that Bush was shaking hands with Saudis, etc.

Frankly, I didnt care when terrorists attacked Washington DC and New York, because having lived in the Central Atlantic region, I felt they had a dog-eat-dog mentality and just as a New Yorker will step over a homeless man without blinking, I felt nothing personal about the WTC getting attacked.

In Fact, if the Central Atantic Region were nuked with very large bombs, I would feel decadently detached from the event, as if some 3rd world nation were getting bombed that I had trouble connecting with.

You feel bad if New Orleans gets Hurricaned, but if a Hurricane hits New York, it's hard to feel any sympathy. During Hurricane season I actually have a certain hope that the Central Atlantic will get hit again.
