Nobody who refuses to pay taxes should be able to vote.
Do you see this as a widespread problem? Shocked

People who refuse to pay taxes sometimes go to prison... But I don't know if they lose the vote for that or not. It probably varies by state.

Who are you talking to?  The voices in your head?  I realize I've been here a short time, but I haven't seen any anarchists on the board
They pop up from time to time, but they still don't have any ideas beyond "tear it all down and make things "fair". Grin Grin Grin so they usually leave if you ask them pointed questions.

To be fair I could count myself because I don't think the purest form of the NAP demands any less than anarchy, and therefore nothing less than anarchy is moral.

I am not saying I personally desire anarchy or that I don't understand that it would be ruinous (I do), I'm just saying it's right.

However, I am not seeing any real difference, personally, for my necessary code of actions, between living under a government and living under a bunch of gangs. I still don't violate the NAP. What others do is up to them.

It's also not my business in a free market to preach to others that they are violating the NAP. If they are, and it works and brings them profit, I have no right to complain.

The solid refutation, knockdown argument against AnCap is simply this:

If the government is a thug, and has no legitimacy, then you have perfect AnCap now, and any dispute with the function of this system is a dispute with the function of your ideal society.

Again, I didn't say there weren't knockdown arguments against anarchy, I just said anarchy was demanded by the NAP and is the only moral option.

Neither perspective is correct.

Interesting you ask this then admitted you're in the Green party.  You're not as leftist as Don and you're more open minded than he is, but you're constantly arguing for the left.  Why do you do that if you're not a leftist?  Leftists suck

Ouch!  Damn, I got to you on that one.  I'd say calm down, but you're so upset you may pop a vein.  That would be cool ...

And you think libertarians are right?  Well, not with social policy or militarily.  But it's the greed of the left, isn't it, Don?  In the end all you care about is money.  The only way that I'm "right" and the only thing you care about.  Other people's $$$

Do libertarians have "social policy"? I thought it was just to leave people alone to allow them to create their own societies... I have a hard time thinking of that as a "social policy".
