Literally, "Shit!"

Are you referring to my post?
Are you angry at me now?
It's just opinion burnsred and has no influence on you other than how it makes you feel. And you can always reject it. Don't become so emotional that it ruins your day.

No professional in the mental health field allows that to happen, it would make them crazier than their patients. I should know!

Don_G, not everything is a reaction to you or about you.

Are you willing to tell us your second reaction?

Did you ever start thinking of a way to prevent this senseless slaughter?

I'm not trying to lead you into something that would compromise your 2a rights. I'm just interested in  hearing how this kind of thing could be prevented? It would make a good discussion I think because I have some ideas of my own that I would like to put to you people if you have an interest.

I don't believe there is in any point in commenting for another week or so.  The news currently is almost certainly wrong and any speculation based on it will likewise be wrong.

Maybe Jeff? When somebody goes to a shooting range they are likely finding an outlet for their need to kill from a distance.
More likely that they would be practicing and developing the skills necessary to consistently shoot accurately at long distances... It's a highly competitive discipline and quite popular. Some people prefer to shoot paper at long ranges, others to shoot varmints or big game animals.

More likely they will be shooting because it's fun, or they will be learning how to effectively defend themselves from barbarians.

I know you hate all of those things, right? Ask me if I care what ignorant fools think.

I'm waiting to learn more about his alleged connection to antifa... It seems likely to me. His killing rampage is consistent historically with anarcho-communists from every place and era.

Ditto.  The shooter has some political agenda. It may be tough to decipher because he's a social recluse - not active on any social networking sites.  But something will come up.  Maybe they'll find a copy of Marx's Manifesto stashed under some floor boards.

If my Mom would let me bet, I'd bet his core agenda is "Destroy America".

I'd also bet he couldn't possibly explain why anarchy or communism would be an improvement over the idea of America.

Any anarcho-commie sypmathies wouldn't surprise me much but most of these assholes just use whatever ideology they latch onto as a think veneer to commit atrocities.  Back in the old days, psycopaths could get good paying jobs with the King, there aren't so many torturers and executioners anymore so psychopaths need to other avenues for mayhem.

His killing rampage is consistent with Americans Jeff. It's much less consistent with any other nationality in modern civilized countries.

It might be the price you have to pay for your 2a rights? It appears that you Americans think it's worth it.

I'm tempted to say, who cares, but I do care because I'm human.
