There's probably going to be a fight over this one.. What this billionaire did is against the law.

I think the workers will lose because government will interfere and make it so.

But who wins and who loses won't be as important as it being another step into America's future of big government power.

What law?  There's a law that forces people to continue to operate businesses even when they become unprofitable?

Both web sites are privately owned. They quality of journalism needs to meet the standards and expectations of the owner of the business.

More importantly, it needs to be profitable.  The owner felt a union would create a competitive roadblock for his business.

"I believe unions promote a corrosive us-against-them dynamic that destroys the esprit de corps businesses need to succeed."

No, but there is a law and it was mentioned in the article. Why are you suggesting something else that isn't restricted by law?

Otherwise we have no disagreement yet. I haven't stated any position on the article. I posted ti to find some libertarian opininions first. It worked.

And besides the merits of this particular case, I found some pseudo-libertarian positions.

You missed it. Or you probably didn't even read it. Pseudo-libertarian principles of the sort you push have no balance and so they will always be subject to pseudo-libertarian criticism. The big one! your brand of libertarianism is only for the few and you expect the rest of the people in your country to serve you. It's not working burnsred and you haven't suggesting anything better than will work.

Debating nothing is always a sure thing for me. You know your job!
