Serious Question about Universal Health Care. Pull Your Own Teeth?

Do people in universal health care countries end up pulling their own teeth because they can't get dental care?

http://metro.co.uk/2017/09/07/jobless-couple-pull-out-their-own-teeth-after-wait...

Seriously?  Is it just in the UK?

No, I guess not:

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/inmate-dental-care-denied-saint-john...

That must be the Canadian version of prison rehabilitation.

Serious question.  Universal Health Care admirers please explain this failure.  Also do you need to undergo a background check to buy pliers in Canada?

I think that your anger is causing you to go on a crusage against univrsal healthcare and frankly that's ridiculous. For that reason I think it's best for you if I just use a stock answer on all your threads. It satisfactorily answers all your questions until you come up with something valid.

I already know the way to fix it.  Get the government out of it.

I guess you're fine with prisoners in Canada having to pull their own teeth?

Getting health care is like pulling teeth.

No wait... it's worse. Lol.

An analysis of 2,500 dental practices on the NHS Choices website has revealed half were not accepting new adult NHS patients, and two-fifths turning children away.

NHS England has confirmed that 95 per cent of people seeking an appointment could get one.

Somebody's maths don't work.

And yes, spellchecker, "maths" is a word.

The real problem is the guilds. Nobody bothers to ask why health care is getting increasingly unobtainable, at the same time, across capitalist and socialist countries.

The guilds have too much power. That's the long and short of it. We should just call them what they are. They're guilds.

Somebody make a law that says if you try to get health care through your country's approved methods and can't, you can go outside the Guild for help. Isn't there some kind of world health organisation or something? Let them do this. Then let a country prosecute its own citizens for following what the world health organisation tells them to do, if they dare. Make the country admit that it is legally forcing people to languish or die rather than let them get readily available help, all for the sake of the guilds' profits. Call attention to it. Countries will have to take away the guilds' power.

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

Laws that require getting permission from the government are what you're talking about. Groups of people protected by special laws that limit entry into their crafts or professions.

The only reason they have power at all is because of 'laws' that grant them power.

Say, do you want to talk more about unions?

Opposing unions and workers rights are a giveaway that those who declare themselves to be libertarians, simply aren't. That's why I call them pseudo-libertarians.

The reason they have power is because they buy the laws.

Anywhere with laws, the guilds will just buy them.

Perhaps, if you state your position on the issue first. You have a way of never saying what you think and just attacking what others think.
