Yet, you are so frightened that libertarians might take you out of your comfort zone that you spend hours each day whining about it on a libertarian forum.

Must I remind you again that I'm the libertarian and you are one of the fakers.

libertarianism is mostly socially responsible and it's been proven throughout the world. Especially in the world's most happy countries. (you know who they are.

Pseudo-libertarainism is the impossible and hateful agenda you and Jeff promote on this forum. You've already been told that it can never be possible for a country. Ask SkyChief, he's your libertarian guru.

You are trying to appropriate the term "libertarian" and make it mean "democratic socialism."  Not a bad strategy; it worked in the sixties with the word "liberal."

"Liberal" used to mean what is meant now by "libertarian."  Books by libertarians in the fifties and earlier used the term interchangeably.  Then in the sixties, "liberal" started to mean a domestic policy of more government instead of less.  Very Orwellian of those socialist democrats.

I doubt that one New Jerseyite on the internet will bring about another change in political vocabulary, but you are welcome to try.

Anyway, this will be my last comment on the meaning of the word "libertarian" with you.  You may confuse the newcomers, but no one else is falling for it.

I'm trying to make sense of what the libertarian really is for you people. There's been little progress because it was proclaimed months ago by several of you that libertarianism could never work for a country. I've continued to say that it can if it's understood for what it has to be.

That's it! That should cause you to begin to understand that only one term could survive as an option for a country!

Maybe so but we have to stay focused on what libertarian came to mean and how it grew up to become an option for government. It didn't of course so we fell back on the alternative which does work marvelously well in many countries throughout the world. Especially the 'happiest' countries.

Thank you for finally acknowledging the obvious on where I live. But no, I'm not trying to change anybody's political vocabulary. I'm trying to coax you into being a libertarian and understanding what it means.

Good! But don't stop trying to apply the correct meaning to a political philosophy that could be applied to government. If it remains nothing more than bitching and complaining then it remains quite surreal at best.

I consider it my responsibility to earn not only enough money for things I want to purchase for myself but be in a position to help other people. I want to be in a position to help both my niece and nephew go to great colleges.

I refuse to play the victim. I know that I'm worth more than $7.25/hr and I'm willing to prove it to anyone. That's what I never understood about the minimum wage. It's an insult to the people earning it. To quote Rocky Balboa "Now if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth, but you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that!"

Was Rocky Balboa a folk hero or is that just the name they gave little Sly Stallone?

Do you feel that the State can force you to share your wealth with others?  (by distributing your wealth to others via Income Tax)

So soon to be asking David if he's a pseudo-libertarian wingnut or just a normal person!

Or by using eminent domain to give your property to a developer so he can build a parking lot for his casino...  Or by taxing profits and thereby raising the cost of everything you buy...
