I can take that as the final word. But why can't you and Jeff and all the others who side with you.

You all give away your doubtfulness when you mention the harm China is doing as opposed to the US's smaller contribution.

How in hell could that have any significance or importance at all? It's obvious from what you've all said that no country is doing any harm.

Solidify your positions and stop worrying about climate change being caused by China or any other country. You've obviously won the debate from your own points of view!

Right?

I've never heard a person who is skeptical of the current politically motivated effort to raise taxes based on the claim that carbon emission are causing global warming say that China causes global warming more than the U.S.  What is noted is the fact that China has far more carbon emissions, known in the pseudo-science of global warming as "greenhouse gas" than the U.S.  This is mentioned to point out the hypocrisy of demanding that the U.S. slow down carbon emissions while ignoring the far greater emissions of China.

And of course you libertarians all know that carbon emissions are harmless. So why go on about China causing more harm the neither country is causing any harm according to libertarians?

Since you keep saying that, I’m sure you have quotes to back up your claim of libertarians saying China “does more harm.” I’ll wait.

Meanwhile, I know that YOU think that the fact that China emits more carbon means that it does more harm. So why do you want the world to ambulate China?

For the purpose of discussion with you and most of the others here, I've taken the position that climate change science and global warming science is all a hoax.

There's no return to me to argue otherwise.

Are your convictions in any way related to the issue being raised by Christians that your god would never allow humans to damage the earth irreparably?

It's alright to say so if you believe it. Can you say that climate change is completely phony without even making a reference to your god not allowing it to happen?

Ok, as long as that is an admission you were lying before.

Pfft.  No.

  Sure.  Like this:

Climate change (meaning a change in the Earth's climate brought about by human activity that can be controlled through a political process consisting primarily of new ways to tax the productive) is completely phony.

God (or whatever) obviously allows humans to perform all kinds of mischief.  If God were going to deliver us from evil, I'm guessing He'd start with socialism, not carbon emissions.

There are instances of Christians proclaiming that humans don't have the power or capacity to do irreparable damage to the earth. I can probably find instances with a google search if you doubt it.

Your position on climate change is set in stone and it's extremist to the point at which it's a futile effort for me to spend time debating you. For that reason I'm conceding the debate to you.

You know my position on AGW and you can debate it if you choose to do so. Mine is not set in stone but I doubt you can take any position that could move me. Yours is just too extremist.

I know that is the position of some people.  You asked whether it is my position.

Woo-hoo!

All of my arguments would involve science.  Since your position is based on politics and not science, you are correct.  My arguments would not convince you.

You're always free to state your arguments. I read your posts nearly all the time but when you start to get into being ridiculous I sometimes just skim over the lines and not bother answering back.

I promise to read what you say on climate science but I won't guarantee I'll look at all your links and read them all thoroughly. Most I will if they appear to be relevant and they aren't coming for 'Answers in Genesis' or some other bullshit sky fairy nonsense.

Why would I waste my time? You already declared yourself unconvincible.

True but you could appeal to the others too!

Look burnsred, I've said that I will read your opinions so isn't that good enough.

If you have nothing more to say on the topic then I hope you don't mind if I just tune you out for now.
