The Constitution has been totally trashed by laws and excutive orders the Supreme Court has upheld.

The Bill of Rights, like the Wicked Witch of the West, isn't merely nearly dead, but clearly most sincerely dead.

The imprisonment of Socialist Presidential candidate Eugene Debs for speaking out against US involvement in WW I was clearly a violation of the First Amendment, but perhaps the most egregious violation of the Bill of Rights was the droning of US citizen and Islamic lecturer Anwar al-Awlaki for speaking out against US involvement in Yemen, and the droning of his 16-year old US citizen son two weeks later.

Those actions by the CIA violated most of the rights listed in the Bill of Rights.

I hear you. I see the problem now as being that neither political party has any interest in putting the brakes on. The Dems are talking as if they're prowar and Trump isn't sincere in the least about improving relations with Russia.

I think the best thing that could happen is that Mueller is ready to move and Trump and he will do so quickly.

Some of the stories being posted at RTnews are becoming very frightening I think. Especially the way the situation has been manipulted on the North/South Korea situation in which the US has been sidelined.

There is a definite possibility of the US losing all it's interests in South Korea in the foreseeable future. If the hawks start to see that possibility then there won't be any holding back anymore.

Interesting concept! If the SCOTUS doesn't decide law in favour of the ruling party then the Constitution could be relied upon and the interpretation could always be favourable to the ruling party.
The first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Jay, believed that questions about the meaning of the Constitution must be put to the people, since all authority under the Constitution comes from the people and the Constitution cannot be altered without the consent of the people.

I agree with him.

The fact that people murder other people doesn't mean laws punishing murder are "dead". In like fashion, the fact that people in government violate the Constitution doesn't mean the Constitution is "dead".

All that constitution shit pales in comparison to the very real danger in what is happening in the Koreas.

And not to forget to mention what the US has supposedly done with aiding terrorists to send drones against Russia's airbase in Syria.

Fuk your constitution it's meaningless to those who pull the strings. Only little patsies like you waste your time worrying about it. It keeps you off the streets and away from quesioning what's happening to your country under Trump's rule.

Gee Donat dear, if our government followed our Constitution, which grants them no power to engage in wars of aggression or foreign adventurism, things would be just the way you want them to be around the world... It really astounds me that you aren't a strong advocate for our original Constitution of enumerated powers.

It's probably just your lack of understanding.

Do you have a source for this collusion story on the Clintons/Russia? Til now I've always taken it as just turn about by Trump.

They would have to be very large wings, and pigs don't have the necessary musculature to use them, so no, pigs with wings couldn't fly. If they could fly, they wouldn't be pigs.

That's it in a nutshell! Jeff and his friends imagine so many things that can never be.

Thanks for the links. I think the question is whether or not there were any laws broken.

And beyond that, now that Trump has made the FBI his enemy, whether or not the FBI would even pursue something that could be beneficial to trump?

You're expecting somebody to take Trump's side and I think it's too late for that. In any case, it's not going to stop the momentum that Mueller and the deep state have now to destroy Trump.

They all love their country because that's what rightists and cops do. Trump picked the wrong fight when he fired Comey. He'll swing from a tree for that mistake. rhetorically speaking that is.

As for my preference, I'm with you in wanting to see all US politicians on both sides lynched by the people.
