In this article, Burger King successfully compares Internet Service providers throttling or blocking content to Burger King itself charging people more to get their whoppers in a reasonable time, or slowing down access to the whopper so they can sell more chicken fries.

It's a damn good comparison. Perfect analogy.

...Except that the law already allows them to do all these things.

They just don't because it would send customers packing.

D'oh!

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

You're saying the only reason Burger King survives is that they have become cronies with the government?

Dumbest thing to come out of Burger King since that creepy King mascot in bed with that guy.

It's sad that we have gotten the point where so few people get the difference between what people shouldn't do and what people shouldn't be allowed to do.

It's just more rightist corruption in the land of the gun. I hope it hasn't been expanded to Canada yet. But I know it's a creeping sickness that is motivated by the greed of employers in the US.

It's Trump's model which is being supported by people like burnsred.

The sickness has been in Canada longer than here.

Canada is our canary in the mine, one  of them anyway.

Venezuela was one also.

I thought this was a good explanation of net neutrality-

Detail what additional taxes you and your government loving leftist brethren contribute to the government.  What deductions do you refuse?

Only fools and the innocent pay more taxes than the law requires them to.

The problem is that fools and the innocent can't deduct much anyway, usually.

What about people of middle income who think that if there are to be taxes, they should pay more and the rich should pay less?

I don't know of anybody who wants to pay more taxes. I never met anyone like that.

My brother when he was 14 or 15 and reading Mein Kampf and saying he was going to leave his fortune to the government would be the exception, but he got greedy and figured the government would never use his money wisely anyway.

I don't think he's ever decided that Hitler didn't really have things about right...
