You're right about the problem not being with immigants. Tucker tried to throw that one in because he knows it appeals to Fox news' fascist base.

Homeless people living on the streets need bathroom facilities.
They should get jobs. Congress is just considering (finally) allowing lots more (?) unskilled worker visas, because homeless people living on the streets are waiting for someone to give them houses instead of going out and getting jobs.

Anyway, democratic socialists are the cause of Kalifornia, not immigrants.

It's true.

The most worrisome thing is our growing underclass of immigrant citizens who are locked into menial labor and service-industry jobs - hotel maids, nannys, dog-walkers, gardener, waiter/waitress type employment.

With skyrocketing home prices (the median home price in California exceeds $600,000!!), there are no hopes of these people ever owning a property here.  Everywhere you look, it seems its either ultra-secluded, affluent gated communities, or ramshackle rental homes where the poor people live.  The "nice" middle-class neighborhoods are becoming rare.

California's middle class are leaving for tax havens like Texas or Arizona.  California's Tax Base is dwindling while our lawmakers are dreaming up new entitlement programs and more burdens on the taxpayers... it's all deficit spending at this point.  Government pensions are unbelievably high - usually six-figures.

California has become insolvent—it does not have sufficient assets to pay all of its present liabilities, and a state cannot declare bankruptcy - only individuals and corporations can do that.

Cal-3 Initiative is being appealed. It's our only hope...  Embarrassed

They 'should' get jobs! And the jobs 'should' pay more than the amount they get from the government to sit back and relax.

You want to say the solution is in them getting jobs and that rings a bell for everybody. Problem solved once again by Jeff!

But that's the end of the conversation and no possible solutions will be considered, except maybe force of some sort.

That's the end of the road for your ideas because you just smashed your head into a brick wall.

Forcing rightist policy on people results in more crime and the US has proven that out enough already. The prisons can't hold any more people.

Libertarianism has an answer to the problem but we first have to dispense with rightist dogma. Libertarianism actually is working in the happiest countries in the world.

Sooner or late we're going to talk about it. I hope you become part of the conversation because you are quite clever, as Snarky has also said.

Just don't start agreeing with his rightist crap in order to get more nice strokes from him.

A new California Bill bans soda for kids at restaraunts.

Senate Bill 1192 passed the Assembly on Thursday but still requires one more vote before being signed into law by Governor "Moonbeam" Jerry Brown.

New regulations on the foods we can eat and the foods we CAN'T eat?

Red blinking lights.

Every aspect of people's lives are now being regulated by the state.

Socialism is king in the People's Republik of Kommiefornia.

We would flee, but we're stuck in an upside-down mortgage!

Sweet Athena, daughter of Zeus, help us....  please!!

They are creating high-paying government jobs.  Still a shitty job, though.

I would never want a job scraping turds off the sidewalks.   Yuck!   Tongue

It gets weirder and weirder.

Lt. Gov Gavin Newsom has announced a plan which grants Universal Health Care to illegal immigrants.

He also has a plan to pay for the Universal Health Care:    Raise Taxes.

How's that for thinking outside the box?  Californians already pay the highest (combined) taxes in the nation.

Thus continues California progressives’ war on the state’s law-abiding and productive residents.

How much more taxation can Californian's take?

"The sky's the limit!" chuckled Newsom.   (he didn't really say that)

If this passes, California will become a magnet for illegal immigration. We will become overwhelmed within a year.

I thought that was the idea, to give Kalifornia back to the Mexicans who originally owned it? Racial Justice and other stuff...

Isn't that why the advocates for the State of Jefferson are trying to escape? Because they don't want to live under Mexico's government?

They don't want to live under Moonbeam Brown's government.

California is quickly sliding towards a socialist State, and we will have a situation like Venezuela.  80% of the population will be on government assistance, and the handful of taxpayers who pay for it all are making plans to leave for more tax-friendly places.

Taxpayers are fleeing.  That's a sign of transition between a capitalist republic and a socialist nanny state.

Not "socialist" for real, but what Moonbeam is doing will prepare Kalifornia for Mexican rule by getting Kalifornians used to the type of government Mexico has.

It's ironic. Mexicans come to America hoping to escape Mexican style government, and find that it's already here. Cry
