At least Medicare and Medicaid are going to our own legal residents.  Why should we have to pay for illegals?  So Medicare and Medicaid are the biggest driver of our national debt (and I have issues with those programs), why does that make paying for illegals ok?

Don't sweat the little stuff Ruby, it's the underlying assertion that government is empowered to give our money to anyone that matters, and the fact is, they give most of it to Citizens.

Just because Medicare, Medicaid, and SS cost a lot more, it doesn't mean we shouldn't be concerned with other wasteful government spending.

Yes, CAGW has been around a long time pointing out lots of waste, but waste fraud and abuse are things that come with government, which is why government must be kept small and under control.

Here's an item from the state level-

It might be a waste, but it's not theft or fraud, it's just how big government works, especially when government unions are involved.

A retired head football coach with a $46,000/month pension?
Things like that are a big contributor to the "income inequality" that's the topic here. Find a government, or a government run "business" like a state university or school system, and you will find a cluster of wealthy people paid by taxpayers.

And spending needs to be brought under control.  We're borrowing money that future generations will have to pay back.  That's generational theft.

And idiots over in Russia think their system of government is better than ours.  Same with leaders in Venezuela.  Really, if I was a leader in one of these countries, I'd want to emulate the U.S.  Heck, I'd want to be even more free.  Only a moron would not want their country having economic freedom and producing a lot of great products.

Let's have more of other freedoms too, not just economic.

Yes, prostitution and drugs should be legal.  BTW, I just read that the opioid epidemic has had a benefit in that there have been more available organs for transplant.
