Perhaps the worm has turned.

However, I'm reminded of the days leading up to the Shock and Awe on Iraq.

Dubya had stated that he would abide by the UN vote regarding the attack on Iraq.

After a few days it became apparent that the UN was not going to vote in favor of attacking Iraq.

And then I woke up one morning to find that the US was bombing the crap out of Iraq.

So, we'll see what happens in Syria, and whether Trump is able to disregard the wishes of crazed warmongers Bolton and Netanyahu.

Yes, Hope for Change.

Let's hope things change in Afghanistan and Iraq too, and all those other places Congress doesn't even know about where American troops are fighting whoever under authority "granted" by Congress.
