Land tax or any other tax cannot replace income taxation.

There are many taxes that (used in combination) could replace Income Tax;

• Gasoline Tax
• Data Tax
• Tobacco Tax
• Liquor Tax
• National Sales Tax
• Marijuana Tax

Good Chief! That becomes a preview of how invalid your list will be.

Let me add to it to take away any ambiguity.

Don G. said: If income taxation could be eliminated it would have been done sometime in the last 200 years. And it won't be eliminated in the next 100 years either! Marx got that one right!

You're sure having a bad hair day today aren't you!

I'm all for thousands of new taxes in the US. Every time you spend a nickle you can be taxed for what you buy. Run the idea up the flagpole and see if Americans salute it! Or start small and see if you can get a couple of libertarians on board. It seems that so far they think it's not such a hot idea?

I think we'll just keep it simple and stay with income tax for Canadians. After all, all the individual taxes just amount to the same thing anyway!

The reason this asenine statement made the DTESOW list is because income taxes haven't even been around for 200 years so how the f__k could they have been eliminated before they even existed!!??

Very well, then.  I have deleted the statement from the DTESOW list.

I had always thought that Marx and Engels invented Income Tax. Income tax IS one of the planks of the Communist Manifesto. But appartently these guys just ripped off the idea from some British bloke named Henry Beeke!

Thank you and I appreciate your honesty. But really, you don't have to scratch it from your list. It's no more libruturyun batshit crazy than some of the other shit you were dreaming up.

I can't stand the suspense chief, let's get it out now. You need some kind of lift to get you out of your misery.

Try a whole bunch of laughing men too maybe?

If it's something I said yesterday then tell me what it was and I might be able to say I didn't mean it and Im sorry.

The laughing men are meant as a reward to you for saying something genuinely funny.

See, this is hilarious. But only because you're serious. It's your delusional moonbat arrogance that makes it so funny.

In your mind, you honestly believe that you have the power to alter reality.  It's truly remarkable.  And funny!!    Grin
