California Leads Again!

California is going to force solar panels on homebuyers starting in 2020! Each installation will cost $8000 to $12,000 and will raise the cost of a new home by $40 a month on a 30 year mortgage. But the savings in electricity will bring the homeowner $80 a month back!

It's clean energy and so it's necessary in order to save the environment. This is just one more instance when force is necessary and good for you.

All three imaginary California's will be forced to comply obviously. Think of it as another victory against libertarian bulllshit dogma! Sometimes pseudo-libertarians need to be dragged kicking and screaming. Not unlike how candy must be denied children to help them save their teeth and limit their weight.

If it's so great, why does it need to be a requirement?

Well I was wondering when you would ask! Mostly for the same reason it's a requirement that you don't shoot anybody with your guns.

Seriously, it's a requirement because the environment has to be protected or disasterous effects will take place. This is a positive move to lower air pollution, which harms people and the environment.  Americans don't seem to want to do it on their own initiative.

I'm assuming you believe in AGW.

Does the LP believe in AGW?

Actually, no it won't,  knucklehead.

The two new spin-off states will be completely independent from Sacramento. (Dumb) Laws made in Sacramento (thankfully) will not be adopted in the new states.

The mandate *might* be "grandfathered" in Northern California, But New California and Southern California will probably definitely dump it.

You're already predicting that two of the three will turn red and reject it. That's why it's gerrymandering.

Oh, and the Cal energy commission voted for it unanimously.

I bet ya that more states will do the same before California is divided in three. LOL

Yes, it's only a prediction, but if the split-up is passed, New California and Southern California WILL be independent of Sacramento Laws. That's a fact.

I keep telling you the split is NOT gerrymandering.  It's a mechanism to improve representation for ALL Californians - not just the moonbat enclaves in the silicon valley.

No, that is not a fact. Sacramento will still be the seat of all California power. The Constitution will not allow that power to be transferred to other jurisdictions.

I know this is all near and dear to your heart but I still have to wonder where you get your ideas?

All Californians are already very well represented. This plan your handlers have convinced you to support is strictly for the purpose of gerrymandering.

ahhell blew the cover when he said that Democrats would benefit and so were for it and Democrats would not benefit and so were opposed to it.

Get a fking life you crazyassed wanker. Or at least get a a laughing man/woman/chimp.

If this were true, there would be no need for the split-up.

ahhell was right in saying that Democrats would benefit.  That's why they signed the CAL-3 petition!  Why would democrats sign the petition if they didn't think they would benefit from [CAL-3] split?

C'mon, Don_G.  Think.   Set your petty mooonbat emotions aside, for a change.

Great question Ruby!

Here's a story about Kalifornia leadership that's connected to the high cost of housing Kalifornia "regulators" have created-
