Right, and that's wrong. If there are laws, they should only punish aggression.

No. Punishing the subject for the illegal, but non-aggressive act is the aggression. Investigating him is not.
  

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.
