The surpluses will occur on the second and third year of the program.

The Guest Visa renewal fee is progressive - it goes higher and higher:

initial fee:           $500

1st renewal fee:   $1000

2nd renewal fee:  $2000

3rd renewal fee:  $4000

etc...etc...

As you can see, the Guest Visa program can potentially make HUGE profits. This is why it's imperative that the program be privately operated.

This potential to make huge profits is what will get investors interested in the program.  Smiley

How childish and foolish can you get? I'll leave it to my boss to spam you now.

SkyChief, katija gruene hasn't yet declared her positions on any issues except for a few (she hasn't declared her position on taxes, for example); so she either probably hasn't had time or funding for a website to post them, or she is permitting majority rule to decide which positions she'll have on issues.  And she prefers her name non-capitalized (probably because she doesn't support the death penalty and probably because she doesn't support the use of violence, so she probably would want that video game Active Shooter to be banned).

I did a little poking around  - katija gruene self-identifies as an "eco-socialist".

https://www.facebook.com/votekat.org/

Naturally, alarm bells go off whenever libertarians see or hear the word socialist used to describe a person's (or group's) political views!

That usually indicates a propensity for powerful government and wealth re-distribution (taxes), which of course, we libertarians strongly oppose.

It would be interesting to find out what gruene's actual position on taxes is.

I don't have an account with that website, so I can't comment on that webpage.  I'll have to email my friend chip burcham for his review of that website if all other information of that webpage isn't posted as a reply to this topic.  Socialism works well for smaller numbers of employees of a group or team.  I already explained on another topic why too much socialism becomes evil.  The Green Party of the United States value decentralization.  I'm guessing katija gruene's position on taxes would be a "Fisher-Price" like version (care while collecting & providing).

here's what chip told me via email earlier today:

Quote:
speaking of office of President of the USA, be sure to remind people that when Bill Clinton was President of the USA, Al Gore was Vice President of the USA and "gore" means bloodshed and there was much bloodshed gore during the 9/11 attacks; really katija gruene, of the Green Party of the United States, values non-violence; and katija gruene would make an excellent (Co)President of the United States starting on Inauguration Day of Wednesday January 20, 2021 to Inauguration Day of January 20, 2029

I agree with above but I also think that William Weld would make a good (Co)President or (Co)Vice President also.

Why? Weld always acted like a Democratic Socialist.

Having people who act like that "in power" is very dangerous.

I felt compelled to argue this, but after doing a little research, it's evident that Weld did support some Democratic Socialist/Redistribution policies:

• Reaffirmed commitment to affirmative action. (Sep 1996)

• Favors "clean" needle giveaways to drug addicts. (Aug 1997)

• Wants tougher sentences for drug abuse offenders. (Oct 1996)

• Favored EPA's electric car mandate and stricter smog limits. (May 2016)

• Supports expansive environmental regulations. (Aug 2005)

• Supported $25B Mexico bailout. (Jun 2004)

• Despite being Libertarian VP, still interested in free trade. (May 2016)

• Supports gun control. (Aug 2005)

• Take on ISIS with FBI task forces, like we took on the Mafia. (Jul 2016)

• Just started receiving Social Security and likes it. (May 2016)

• Cut taxes without abolishing the IRS. (Jun 2016)

• Strongly Opposed Privatized Social Security

Whose taxes did he cut?

"I think coercive taxation is theft, and government has a moral duty to keep it to a minimum." - Bill Weld

He didn't actually "cut" taxes,  He only acknowledged that Tax is theft.   But then as you can see, he only wants government to "keep it to a minimum."

That's tantamount to saying

"A little bit of government theft is acceptable so long as it's keep it to a minimum."

That is NOT libertarian thinking at all.

Everything you said about Weld was bullshit Chief.
