Trump's New "Space Force"

"Importantly, I am directing the Department of Defense and the Pentagon to begin the process necessary to establish a Space Force as the sixth branch of the armed forces."

LoL!

Obviously, there nothing in the U.S. Constitution allowing for any standing "Space Force."  But then, just as obviously, there no provision for a standing "Air Force," either, so . . .

The real meaning of this announcement has nothing to do with space.  It is Trump announcing that he has no further interest in the fake investigation of the ginned up "Russia Collusion Scandal."

So the media is only left to explain why separating kids from parents at the border was right and necessary under Clinton and Obama but horrible and evil under Trump.

OMG I thought this was a joke.

Poor Donald.  He's completely lost touch with reality.

Heres a transcript:

"In December, I signed a new directive that will return Americans to the moon for the first time since 1972 - if you can believe that.

Also remember it's about that, but is't also about jobs and the economy. This is a great thing we are doing.

This time we will do more than just plant our flag and leave our footprints - we will establish a long-term presence, expand our economy, and build the foundation for an eventual Mission To Mars which is actually going to happen very quickly."

Congress needs to nip this in the bud.  They need to withhold funding.  They need to reduce deficit spending.  Someone needs to slap the President and bring him back to Earth.

Let SpaceX do this kind of stuff with private funding.

Powerful nation states that have sworn to destroy us are creating space forces.

They don't have any Constitutional restraints on them.

Anyway, the Constitutional restraint on a standing army in the U.S. is that the People's House is prohibited from allocating any money for any military for more than a two year period, at which time they must renew the debate and decide if it's still necessary to be at war.

Since the People's House keeps allocating money, we keep having a standing army and being in all sorts of wars.

Orange capitalist aliens keep trying to get to my planet. It's a serious problem.

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

Trump not interested in this?

Compared to the interest he should be showing in space and cyber space weapons being developed to be directed against us, Russian trolls are microbes and it is Nancy Pelosi's friends who would be most likely to interfere in free elections in the U.S.

We can trust the Russians to get it wrong, but nobody knows what Nancy will do or say...

Nevertheless, Nancy's "Right" to vote in Congress is guaranteed. Anything less could be harmful to our system of government and perhaps even our Liberties as free People. Shocked

How do you figure that Jimmy?

I thought in "progressive theories, Tinkerbell paid for everything, but only in the indeterminate future...
