There is a lot of land in the Western U.S. that is still claimed by the U.S. as it's "territory". Some of it has been turned into National Parks and National Forests and big military bases where they blow lots of things up. Lot's of it gets leased to cronies for mineral extraction and grazing.

All of it should be sold. It would go a ways toward reducing the debt the government has incurred on our behalf.

Oh wait, sorry, you changed it to "buying voting rights".
