Constitutionally, the military is not under the Presidents control except in times of declared war or rebellion or insurrection.

Whatever.  The Commander-In-Chief has full control of the military for 48 hours.

Do you think Trump had Congress approval when he ordered the missile strike on Syria a couple of months ago?

Well, he didn't have it, because he didn't need it.

Fine.

Trump controls the military and the nukes and the state militias and all the DHS paramilitary, and our military are disarmed while based in the U.S., so they won't hurt us...

You don't think that's a dangerous concentration of power in one man?

I sure do.

If I had it my way, the President would not have 48 hours to order military strikes without Congressional approval.

Not even 48 seconds!   (The exception would be if the US was under attack.)

Under direct physical attack? Or under imagined threat of an attack?

Your solutions are always too simplistic to take seriously Chief. And that goes for your solution to the unfair income tax problem as well. Actually, it goes for your entire concept of libertarianism.

Let's go back and erase the entire slate and start from zero! You're started down a dead end path and your notion of 'being under attack' is illustrative of your inability to even think straight.

You don't can't understand the fundamental principles of libertarianism, Dink.  Anything I say about about liberty and natural rights will seem odd and unfamiliar to you - as it does with most people burdened with leftist ideologies.

Self-ownership.  A cornerstone libertarian principle - a concept completely alien to you.

In your mind, (a portion of) a person's wealth should be surrendered (by force) to the government.

This idea is as un-libertarian as it could possibly be.  But you'll never understand why.

It's called 'life in the real world' numbnuts. And it will always be real life in all countries that continue to exist.

Forever!

over and out!

I've got real libertarianism that I have to spend my time talking about. Try Alayne or therm.

Will you stand by that assertion, or abandon it as you constantly do?

Could you support that claim if you have to?

What is actually in Dork's mind is the idea that the proletariat should control the economy through their Party representatives, who get instructions from bureaucracies that are led by Party appointed functionaries, but the Central Committee (or sometimes a Great Leader) is the actual autocrat.
