Seems like those wankers at Cato are getting it about right boss. If there's any significant difference in my solution then let me know.

There is. It's the last point-

"* restrict noncitizen access to means-tested welfare."

nonsense, we're both o.k. with means tests for welfare. But we're miles away from that right now boss.

Would 'you' really support welfare with means testing boss?

That neglect to address the bit where I asked for legislation that could actually get passed and signed into law.

Then we should just keep protesting the inhumane treatment of immigrants, child separation and whatnot, until public pressure forces, if not full open borders, total non-enforcement.

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

Your comprehension of English has failed again Dork.

What that simple sentence said was that means tested welfare would only be available to citizens.

Let's protest the inhumanity of people who know they are going to sneak into the U.S. illegally bringing children along on what is known to be a dangerous journey.

Any U.S. citizen who so recklessly endangered their children would have their children taken from them by CPS.

We should talk about that too, since CPS separates children from their parents.

If people want open borders, let them work to change the law.  BTW, do any countries have open borders?  If not, why should we have to have them?

I'm good with it either way boss. On this one I'll go where you try to push me.

You and me boss, we'll remark on the topic as we watch libertarians tear down another of their political priorities.

When are you going to start on the chief again? I can hardly wait to join in!

I really liked how you brought Ruby down to a snivelling idiot, asking you for advice. It makes me feel a bit proud to be your dink, dork, schlong, whatever?

Libertarians have always been divided on the issue of open borders.

I think they all agree that people carrying infectious diseases, and terrorists, and spies, shouldn't be allowed in.

Because it's right. And yes, it'll mean those other countries win.

Freedom isn't fair. I keep trying to tell you that. It's defined in such a way that there are going to be clear winners and losers. In this case, America would be the loser.

But we deserve to lose because immigrants are superior to American workers in every way. They work harder, faster, more cheaply, and more efficiently than any American. Keeping them out when American businesses want to transact with them is aggression against the immigrant workers and the businesses.

Because it's right.
Based on the idea that a Right to trespass exists?

You do understand that their is inherent tension between the right of free travel and property rights don't you?

I'm proposing that the citizens of a nation have property rights in their country...

Disagree if you want to.
