You completely missed my point about fundamental property rights.

That was you.

Should Disneyland accept anyone who sneaks under the fence and demands admittance to the park?    Of course not.  And neither should the US.

The question is if Disneyland should be forced to turn people away who want to pay to get in.

Actually, it's the same question: Who decides who's allowed on your property, you, or the government?

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

You of course, but the government is empowered to decide who's allowed to come into our country.

I think you want to remove that power, but most libertarians just want more sensible immigration laws.

Huh?  Why would Disneyland turn away people who want to pay to get in?  Huh

The property owner decides who's allowed on the property.  You're making an assumption that all illegal immigrants cross the border onto federal property.

Some do, and some cross onto private property. In Texas, property owners have been prosecuted for preventing illegal immigrants from entering their own property!

This is absurd.  Their right to defend their property should have been protected by government. Instead, they were prosecuted.

Guest Visas would put an end to all this craziness.

My boss was being as polite as is possible for him by reasoning with you.

The better approach is mine. Just tell you that you have your head up your ass and you're batshit crazy.

In one thread you claim to want civilized conversation (although you won't participate...) and in this thread you get a bit barbaric and refuse to converse except through insults...

I have memories of you doing this frequently.

You think it helps your cause?

Edit: I find it delightful! Smiley

Edit 2:  Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss

I made the assumption that they come onto private property, actually, because there should be no federal property.

Yes, those property owners should have say. They should be able to say who can and cannot come onto their private property.

They should also not be prosecuted for allowing illegal immigrants onto their property. This goes for the factory that wants them to work there. This goes for Disneyland if they want the immigrants to pay them money.

You've got the "I get to keep out" part of private property down pat.

Now you need to work on the "I get to let in" part.

Not even for military bases or courthouses or the Senate and House?

I did.  It's called the Guest Visa Program.  It's a plan to give immigrants a means of legally entering the US without all the hassles of trying to get asylum status or citizenship status, which typically can take years.

The highly-streamlined Guest Visa process should not take more than 15 minutes from the time the immigrant enters the Guest Visa office and the time they walk out with a shiny, new Guest Visa card.
