The American obesity rate is 5 percentage points higher than in Canada, smoking rate is 3 percentage points higher, and no doubt Americans don't exercise as much either.  This could account for better healthcare outcomes in Canada.  Of course, the fact that Canadians come to the U.S. for treatment also helps.

What a horrible thing to hear! It being inferred that a libertarian would have to care about other people!  Embarrassed

I do care about other people.  I want them (all) to enjoy the same rights that I claim. - Nothing more - nothing less.   This (and only this) is what gives me the moral high-ground over moonbats like you.

Oppo wants to kill people like me.  So be it.. At least he has the guts to admit it.

Why can't you admit that you want (us libertarians) dead?

I've formulated a very good argument,  but I need all moonbats to agree that all libertarians should be killed for my argument to carry any weight.  Oppo knows exactly where I'm going with this...

Yes, but I didn't think I would ever hear you talking down your fellow Americans like that!

I'll accept that excuse for part of the reason at least!

Look sweet cheeks, the US health care system is in a shambles and everybody knows it. You really don't want to do this with me.

But 'do' keep at it! These kind of admissions of your inferiority are so pleasing to hear you splutter out in desperation.

You should try comparing -youalls' with Europeans for a really big laugh!

Would that be fair because of them having smaller countries?

(snicker)  Undecided

Ruby, you hateful skank, check this out:

http://www.newsweek.com/united-states-health-care-rated-worst-637114

Quote:
s Republicans struggle to agree on a replacement for the Affordable Care Act, the Commonwealth Fund has rated the U.S. health care system as the worst among the 11 developed nations it analyzed as part of an evaluation conducted every three years. The think tank also rated the U.S. health care system as the worst-performing of the nations analyzed when the last evaluation was released in 2014.

It's really, really bad Ruby. People can't make this shit up!

Stay with me Rubes, I'm going to bore you a new asshole!

And yet Canadians come to America for healthcare so they won't die waiting to see a specialist.  Good thing Canadians live close to the American border.

You've already tried that one and got yourself smacked down. Look Rubes, this is something you don't want to do with me.

Now go get me my belt and take it out with you behind the woodshed. I'm going to give you a tanning on your smartalecky little ass to dance around about!

I never said libertarians should be killed.

I said if they were all killed, it would likely bring paradise on earth, or as close as you can get, anyway.

I never found another group of people who would either say I don't have rights, or simply Jew your way to taking away everything I want while maintaining that everything you want is protected by rights.

Eight states in the US allow tigers as pets. You want to outlaw them altogether because owning a tiger unfairly risks others and thus violates rights.

Just one example of the many ways people have more rights now than they would under libertarianism. All the freedoms people enjoy now would go away, replaced with freedoms and rights we don't want, because libertarians are wiser than we are, and better able to determine what things we should have and what things we shouldn't.

Believe it or not, I want to live in that horrible world. Take my hypothetical tiger, and I'll continue to live libertarian, respecting the mountains of rights you provide to yourselves as well as accepting that I don't have any.

Because if I'm unwilling to follow rules I find distasteful, I'm not a very good Statist.

Neither you nor Dual Guy have the slightest clue what libertarianism is about.

You both favor taxes - you both are moonbats.

Notify Bernie - He can put you two to good use.

I must bathe now.  Smiley

I don't think either of us spoke in favor or against taxes. It was  a discussion about health care comparisons in two different countries and that it is not free in Canada, but paid for by someone. Just like it is in the USA. You should try to be less rude, it would be better for your heart health and mental health.
