Only eyewitness evidence.  But the witnesses have all died.  Including Agnew.    Huh
Who were the witnesses? Who did they tell about Agnew being in on the break in?

In 1997 (a year after Agnews death) I saw a PBS  documentary about the Watergate break-in.  They had ex-Nixon aides giving personal accounts of the nuances.

They said that even though Agnew was kept out of Nixon's inner circle, he had knowledge of the plan before it went down.

It's been 21 years since I saw the show, so the details escape me.

The Libertarian party has had a divide; a divide between its leadership, and Libertarian intellectuals. WE intellectuals must take the party, and pursue victory with the greatest of vigor!

I have a sort of visceral distrust of people who label themselves as "intellectuals" and think that, in general, having any sort of self proclaimed "elites" in charge of anything is a sure recipe for failure.

Intellectuals as I see them are people who read books. A very high bar these days 😂

That's not a high bar at all.

What kind of books? Do they learn anything from the reading?

Is someone who reads and re-reads Rules For Radicals automatically an "intellectual"?

How about people like some I used to know, who carried around Chairman Mao's Little Red Book and read it until they had it mostly memorized? "Intellectuals"?

And of course my Mom, who reads all of Lillian Jackson Braun's books, and other books like them, and nothing else...

I quite understand what you mean. Jeff tends to pretend not to.

Though, on-topic, I already gave all my change to Obama. He kept crying for it, you see, and I'm not good at refusing food to lower life forms such as animals and democrats, which is why I like animals such as cats and chickens that can be allowed to free feed all day, rather than dogs who often have to endure rationing. I will just feed them as much as they ask for and subsequently end up with a fat dog.

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

I think he means that because my Mom reads Lillian Jackson Braun stories, she's an intellectual.

Why don't you tell me where I'm missing his point? Thanks.
