As a (paid) LP member,  I'm very knowledgeable about the LP agenda.

I'm more than happy to discuss it with you.  Smiley

Was it anymore than a month ago that you said you weren't a member?  Embarrassed

Thank you! You can get away with saying that you just joined in the last month if you like?

I've been donating money to the LP since 2008 when Bob Barr was running for President. (although I would have voted for Ron Paul, had he made the GOP ticket)

I attended two days of the 2016 Libertarian Party Convention held at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton.

You actually said that you had been donating to the LP. That could very well be true. (but knowing you now, it probably isn't)

And it doesn't have anything to do with being a member. In fact, it confirms to me that you weren't. You might have joined in the last month but we've already done that one.

Even though Oppo is far from a genius, he's rather clever when he tries to act like an adult. You fall far short of that chief.

As I said, isn't it time you tried to lead me around a bit?

I tried to direct you the Green Party.  Here's the Green Party agenda (regarding income tax):

• Heavy, Progressive Income Tax on corporations

• Does NOT support a Flat Tax.

• Income Tax Raises on wealthy individuals.

• Redistribution of wealth by taxation.

• Supports Universal Basic Income (government hand-outs to everyone)

http://www.ontheissues.org/Celeb/Green_Party_Tax_Reform.htm

You kicked and made a fuss.   I did more to help you find your true political identity than anyone else on this forum.

You choose to ignore that fact.  Which actually is useful to me.

Thanks Chief, I enjoyed your post.

It raised my interest too! But I'm far from even thinking of leavinig the LP.

heavy, Progressive Income Tax on corporations is an interesting idea for the LP to take a look at.

The LP is not going change our position on Income Tax.

"The Libertarian Party is fundamentally opposed to the use of force to coerce people into doing anything. We think it is inherently wrong and should have no role in a civilized society. Thus, we think that government forcing people to pay taxes is inherently wrong."

You won't ever be able to understand why we have this philosophy.

You've saddled yourself with the impossible task of convincing libertarians that the Libertarian Party is going to somehow change into the Green Party.

There will be much frustration and disappointment in store for you.  But hold fast to your delusions.

At this point, they're all you've got.   Embarrassed
