We can call the system of government anything you like boss. As long as it keeps printing welfare cheques for the needy then it can survive at a low level. Even signing cheques with a smile on a capitalist face would improve attitudes.

You're a dolt Dick.

People like to think they are getting "government money that they are entitled to" or "Their own money that the government promised was insurance against anything bad that might happen when they got old."

Crony corporations like to get grants and favors so they can get rich and keep getting richer, unless they screw up too badly and the politician cronies turn on them and eliminate them.

It's a law of the jungle situation.

Edit: Bernie thinks the rule of law interferes with the establishment by force of a good socialist system.
