Libertarianism has a very bright future.

As the left and the right annihilate each other, one ideology remains strong and proud - libertarianism.

In this video, a libertarian illustrates the breakdown and hypocricy of leftist ideology.

There is plenty of breakdown and hypocrisy on the right, too.

That's a powerful message Chief.

Is it being suppressed or has it gone viral?

If I was allowed to bet, I'd bet that Dick won't ever find time to watch the video, but he will find time to call it delusional shit in the same breath as saying he hasn't watched it.

It's powerful.

The #WalkAway movement is gathering steam.  Many (former) Democrats are getting fed up with the extremist, pro-violence views of their Party, and becoming Indies or libertarians, as Mr. Straka (in the video) did.

It IS being suppressed by the MSM, and they're doing the best they can to discredit it..

The Washington Post published an article to discredit the #WalkAway movement.

"The #WalkAway meme is what happens when everything is viral and nothing matters."

Nice try, WaPo.   This toothpaste ain't going back in the tube.  Cheesy   Grin

Dissension in both of the major parties can only help libertarianism.

I believe Sicklersdink is Canadian, so he doesn't have a bone in this fight. As long as we continue what has been done in the past, we won't become popular.

Both parties are corrupt. That's a powerful position to be against right there. Second, both Bernie and Trump had large constituencies that voted purely based on Fair trade.

What is mindboggleing to me, is that all three notable parties are for free trade. There is BIG support for fair trade, with alot of working class willing to vote for a SOCIALIST just to get it. If we adopt anti-corruption, also something people were willing to vote for a socialist for, we would get support.

Trump also represented not being afraid to be proud to be American. If we embrace the look of Americanism, owning it, being the patriotic party. Pushing for investing in ourselves, and giving voters SOMETHING to vote for, then we will get traction.

'Fair' trade and 'free' trade are very different animals.

Fair trade places restrictions on farmers and goods manufacturers.

FREE trade, OTOH, affords unfettered international export and import, free from taxes, tariffs, worker protections, unions, or minimum wages.

Libertarians advocate Free Trade.

You're saying that Trump and Bernie supporters might shy away from libertarianism?

This is the type of post made by the one who demands nothing "childish" be posted on the forum and uses his toady Land of Freedom to enforce his pettiness.

I can't make a joke.

I can't use aliens as a metaphor to show Jeff's true colours when it comes to believing in rights. (That only humans have rights, but that because they respect rights, Vulcans are humans so no blowing their heads off in First Contact, but that Opposition still isn't human so still yes to blowing his head off, regardless of whether he respects rights or not, because his respect of rights is for the wrong reason, you see.)

I can't post a picture of Gaia in a thread about Gaia.

But a "neener-neener-neener libertarians suck" thread? Not childish at all.

Thank you Oppo, I wasn't taking therm seriously.

Maybe you shouldn't post in peoples' topics if you're intentionally not taking them seriously. You basically just admitted you're looking to derail.

I'll always try to derail silly shit. I feel it's an obligation.

So how about it? You want to be serious? You insist that my posts are childish? Stay out of off-topic, and I'll stay out of the main section. Perfect arrangement.

No. I'm going to try to fix the off-topic section too.

As it stands right now Oppo, you're completely free to ask your questions about tigers on [the off-topic] section. You should think of that as your liberties being honoured, as the liberties of others is honoured by not having to read off-topic nonsense on the main forum.
