Judge Napolitano: What If?

What if....

...Democrats and Republicans were just 2 wings of the same bird of prey?

...elections were just tools for social control?

...the establishment doesn't want and doesn't have the consent of the governed?

...the 2-party system was actually a system used to limit so-called "public opinion"?

...what we call "public opinion" was just a manufactured narrative that makes it easier to convince people that if their views are different, then there's something wrong with that, or there's something wrong with THEM?

...the widely-percieved differences between the 2 parties was just an illusion?

...both parties just want power and are willing to have our young people fight meaningless wars in oreder to enhance that power?

I wish Judge N. would run for Prez.  This is a very wise man.  He could reduce any Democrat or Republican to a quivering mass of protoplasm in a debate!  Smiley

Drain the swamp.  For real.

Point the finger at crony swamp-water politicians.  Hold their feet to the fire.

Post a monthly shit-list of deplorables.  Voters will do the heavy-lifting.

The entrenched power of the various Departmental and Agency bureaucracies is huge, and they all have their own paramilitary forces. Shocked Angry

Many questions about whose feet must be held to whose fire will have to be answered.

As for voters doing any lifting at all, none of the people in these powerful entrenched bureaucracies are up for election, so voters can't get rid of them.

The great majority of people supposedly "serving" in Congress are both funding and profiting from the swamp. They use the bureaucracies to obtain riches and exercise untrammeled power.

I bloody well accept all of this as flat fact. None of this is an if in my book.

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

Interesting post.  Government will always screw us when we turn our backs on them.  That's axiomatic.

It's really a problem of government having too much power and the power being too concentrated.

Especially if you let 'progressives" define the Constitution to grant themselves unlimited powers and remove the limits on the taxing power.
