That's bits debatable.
In fact, it's wrong, but that doesn't stop people from debating it...

OK, but I don't see any sense in being charitable to someone who wants to do to us what Ocasio wants to do.

You're quibbling over the words, but the meaning is the same.

You can't have that guns are protected in the Constitution and the Constitution allows "strong gun control."  It's an oxymoron.

Why would they put in the Constitution a right that says we can have as much gun rights as government chooses to allow us to have?   Obviously they didn't do that

She was wrong to say that "gun control" laws have worked, and wrong to even imagine that the Right to keep and bear arms is not in the Constitution or that "gun control" does not "run afoul" of the Constitution.

I wonder who wrote that for her?

Which part do you think is quibbling?

AOC and Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Ed Markey will soon unveil their "Green New Deal" - a far-reaching  socialist scheme that should dwarf FDR's New Deal from the 1930s in scope, scale, and cost.

This so-called "Green New Deal" is expected to cost taxpayers a whopping $7 Trillion!  That's the estimated price, anyways.   In reality, the cost would likely go higher - much higher.

The two hope that the the country's near-total economic transformation towards full-blown socialism should take approximately ten years, if everything goes according to plan.

"The problems the Green New Deal addresses require solutions where bigger [government] is better, imperative, and paraodixcally, more affordable."

Wow. that doesn't make a lick of sense.    Hopefully, other House democrats will see the problems with this  proposed government-expansion scheme. Hopefully they will vote it down before it ever makes it to the Senate floor!

I was afraid of that, they're planning another Great Depression, then another World War...  Are they all nuts or evil?

I should start a poll:

1) They're nuts.

2) They're evil.

3) All of the above.

AOC is nuttier than a squirrel turd.    Nobody takes her seriously. . . . .or  DO they?

No matter...  Trump will veto any idiotic bills that make it to his desk.

Trump hasn't yet signed an idiotic bill?

That would be a first since Calvin Coolidge wouldn't it?

Ron Paul briefly talks about Comrade Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal:

"I don't like it - I can't believe there's going to be anything in there [Green New Deal] worthwhile.  It's given some license to these wild-eyed, progressive, socialists to get their views out.  That is the discrepancy in wealth (re)distribution, because it's not normal for a free market. ..She comes up with the wrong conclusion that we need more government  to distribute that wealth and therefore we have to raise more taxes. ...

Equality should be limited to equality of justice - not equality of where everyone has the same amount
[of money]. . . That just doesn't work.... She is just so out-of-it...Her solutions are outlandish."

Dr. Paul went on to mock Ocasio Cortez for stupidly saying the world would end in 12 years - but it was a very gentle mocking.

I'd much prefer to hear Mark Levin mock AOC.  He doesn't pull any punches when it comes to mocking ignorant socialists like Comrade ¡Ocasio!.   Smiley
