That's an unusual way to say it, but it's great that you finally recognize that fraud is theft. Smiley

Nothing to do with your and Oppo's debate, but is that an absolute?  Could people in a community vote that fraud is not theft, or any kind of crime?  Could they say, "it's up to the consumer or other trader to verify the truth of any claims when they make a purchase?"

No, it was stupid, as long as the package contained the amount of chocolate stated on the package.

I do think there is a place for government in establishing(codifying really) standard weights and measures as well.

Agreed.  I've learned that most libertarians and I ask ourselves different questions in the end.  Here's how I weigh issues:

1) Does government doing that increase or decrease my liberty (usually it decreases my liberty, but not always)

Here's how most libertarians seem to address issues:

1) Is it theoretically possible we could do it without government even if it's stupid and costly and decreases my liberty rather than increasing it?

2) Does it give me trying to be an anarchist rep?

I'm going to go masturbate.  Be back in a couple minutes

Take your time.  If they are "voting," that's just tyranny of the majority.  Clearly in this country as I keep pointing out that's what's happening.  There is not consent of the governed to support redistribution of wealth.  You know that because it's destroying us.  Democrats are just seeking tyranny of the majority.  Half + 1 then they get their way

How do you know that?  How have you measured the consent or lack of consent?

Well over half+1 clearly don't believe that redistribution of wealth is destroying us.  So wouldn't you mean to say that they would not consent if they understood that redistribution of wealth is destroying us?

No, that's not what I meant to say

So, what did you mean to say?

If it is that the American people do not consent to our present government, I fully agree with you.

Yet you just argued that they do.  When you decide which side you're on, let me know

No, I was disagreeing with your reasoning as to how you determined that they do not consent.

My reasoning is different.  The people do not consent because there is no way for them to express consent or non-consent.

You didn't contradict my reasoning.  Your argument was gibberish.  I said it's not majority vote + 1 and you said it's more than plus one.  Which was just you wanting to bicker again
