Calvin Coolidge. Smiley

His only promise was contained within his Oath of Office.

Cal was the best.  Seriously.  I use him also as an example of an ideal President.  Do nothing Cal, the best thing a President can do

I think he vetoed a lot of bills coming out of Congress...

Good point.  Impeding Congress from doing anything too is better than doing nothing

A little biography of Coolidge:

https://www.prageru.com/video/coolidge-the-best-president-you-dont-know/

Said Cal-

"It is much more important to kill bad bills," he said, "than to pass good ones." In total, Coolidge vetoed 50 times.

Over 53 individuals have filed with the Federal Election Commission to seek the Libertarian nomination for President!  But only a handful are serious contenders to be the LNC nominee:

Arvin Vohra

Adam Kokesh

Max Abramson

Lincoln Chafee

Benjamin Leder

John McAfee has not filed with the Federal Election Commission, so you'll need to to write-in McAfee.

McAfee defended Communist revolutionary Che Guevara on Twitter, which didn't resonate well with many libertarians who otherwise supported him.

Governments will always devise ways to deprive an honest man of his money or property, and claim that it's legal.

Five candidates:

Adam Kokesh https://kokeshforpresident.com/

Kim Ruff https://ruffphillips2020.com/

Arvin Vohra http://www.votevohra.com/

Dan Behrman https://behrman2020.com/

Max Abramson http://www.maxabramson.org/

Debated back in July:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vN4-xmvpxFE

Haven't watched it except for the introductions.  The guy in the big yellow hat is Dan Taxation is Theft Berman who says he changed is middle name to that.  Based on his name, I support him, but I will  keep an open mind to listen to the others say that they want to keep taxes but otherwise they really like libertarianism (and explain how that is possible).

I watched ~ 34 minutes of it.

One thing that really struck me was the enthusiasm and passion all the candidates had about fundamental libertarian principles; life, liberty, and property.

Instead of bickering, and throwing ad hominem attacks like the dems and the pubs so often do on the debate stage, these libertarians were nodding in agreement with their opponents, and even applauding at times.

WOW.   That sent a powerful message.  A message that won't ever leave that room, unfortunately.

Dan Behrman shoulda left that goofy yellow hat at home.   It made the debate seem like a joke.

Yeah that libertarians don't care if people respect them or not lol.

If you wanna debate you gotta do it to win. You look like a weak n00b for debating like that.

Secret to get respect is never give it.

That is why everyone respects leftists even tho they are misguided. They are like nope you are wrong I am right end of story and they make sure people know how stupid they are for disagreeing.

Everyone bends over backwards to them and that is why if you want respect give none ever no matter what.

These libertarian candidates are passionate and powerful speakers.   They use logic and common sense to guide their political ideology, and this makes them powerful.

Dems and pubs just care about getting votes, so they just say what they think people want to hear.  Weak.

We often hear accounts of democrats and republicans becoming libertarians.

I've never heard an account of a libertarian becoming a democrat or a republican.

And please don't argue that Ron Paul became a republican - he didn't.  He only ran as a republican so he would have a lectern on the GOP debate stage.
