Unifying Strengths of the Democrat Party

• Abject hatred of the president.

• $94 Trillion Green New Deal

• $32.6 TRILLION "Medicare for All"

• $3.8 Trillion/year  Universal Basic Income

• $15 Minimum wage

• Guaranteed Tax hikes to Middle Class

• Repeal All Trump Tax Cuts

• $47 Billion/year "Free" College

Democrats have always been high maintenance, but all of these things are going to crush Middle-Class taxpayers. (except for the Abject hatred of the president)

Whoever the DNC picks as their standard-bearer for the 2020 race will have a tough row to hoe.

Trump will be able to wipe the floor with him/her on any or all of these things.

Dems have really painted themselves in a corner.  They're frightening away the Independents with their zany Tax-N-Spend plans.

Independents will vote for Trump if for nothing else, just to save their own asses on Tax Day!

But it'll work because it's democratic socialism, not socialism.  Socialism has never really been tried before, not like this.  Oh, and it works in Sweden, which is almost exactly like the United States

The uncomfortable truth is that Sweden would get good results out of any system it tried because the people there are good.

Look on this chart. Socialist, communist, capitalist, it does not matter. All that matters is the people.

No system is so bad that it can bring down a productive, decent people, and no system is so good that it can raise up an aggressive, destructive people.

It's really that simple.

The system has no effect beyond what kind of people it selects for. (Socialism as it's usually practiced does kinda select for lazy people who have a lot of babies.)

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

Sweden also has a tiny population and huge energy revenue funding their socialism.

And it still failed.  They broke the bank and have significantly ratcheted back their government giveaway programs.

Here we ironically have the left trying to stifle energy production, which is what funded the Scandinavian socialists they keep pointing to
