This is very true but if I were you, I wouldn't knock this concept without understanding its full consequences. This weak-mindedness and willingness to submit to authority has given Europeans the undeserved success they've experienced over the last thousand years.

When Muslims rightfully acquired land by right of conquest, which was the going rate at the time, what did the Europeans do? They tattled to the Pope. And the Crusades happened.

Europeans will always have someone to tattle to because they willingly support, obey, and bow. This means the Pope (or whoever else) has a resource in Europeans and an interest in their livestock.

As history has shown, this is a deal with no less than the devil.

Europeans have succeeded by reaping the undeserved rewards of slavery far earlier than most people realise.

Let's take a simple example: A toll booth. If everyone is honest, and simply obeys without reason, the toll booth does not need a gate.

Governments of such people can accumulate unchecked power to "defend" their people because they basically don't have to police their citizenry. Each metaphorical toll booth they can leave the gate off, translates to a monetary advantage.

Because Europeans are weak-minded, obedient, flaccid sheep who won't break a rule even when logic dictates it for their own self-benefit, houses in white neighbourhoods do not need bars on their windows.

This is the real white privilege: The one white people still openly protect... and the one that needs to be destroyed before all others.

To do so, you need that:

1. Europeans must never be let to have a government that protects their interests.

Functional generational monarchies must be precluded at all costs. Governments that are easily incentivised for grab-and-go (term limits and the like) are necessary.

If they get a government that favours them, they will win.

2. There must be unlimited immigration into their countries.

If they have capitalism, they'll die off naturally, but if they have socialism, they will thrive under their undeserved privilege if you let them wall off their societies to preserve that privilege.

3. Rules must always advantage the breaker of rules over the follower of rules.

This is absolutely critical. Europeans will follow rules without reason, meaning rules that advantage the followers of said rules over those who rightly break them will ultimately cause Europeans to win.

There must be rules, but they must be lax and unenforceable.

This is why you're a libertarian, Don.

Nothing accomplishes the above better than the Non-Aggression Principle.

The NAP, taken strictly, is unfollowable except by pacifism. You can't know that someone walking away with your lawnmower really has your lawnmower, so using force against them would be aggression.

According to Nozick, private security companies are empowered to prevent the use of an unapproved method of justice against its clients, whether its clients are guilty or not. Needless to say, shooting people because you think they have your lawnmower will be unapproved.

This means that under the NAP, people who commit to following the NAP will be fish in a barrel. It will be open season.

You're a libertarian, Don.

Libertarianism gives you everything you want.

Interesting.

Since WWII, Western Europe has been wholely owned and operated by the U.S.  That has been of little benefit to us, but it kept France, et al from being made a part of the Soviet Empire.

With the Soviets not being a threat to us (if indeed they ever were), it may be time for us to cede our powers over Europe to a nation more suited to manage it:  Canada.

Canada, being a weird kind of hybrid of the U.S. or “America” as Canadians call us, and the UK, is uniquely able to keep a balance between socialism and ruin.

Since,,, under libertarianism, we won’t be meddling in the affairs of other nations,   We could sell Canada much of our military hardware at a sharp discount for them to use to keep European human livestock from going feral again.

In fact, sales of military hardware, paramilitary police gear, drug sniffing dogs, private prisons, radar guns, breathalyzers, and those devices that measure window tint in cars, which are so vital under our current system but won’t be needed under libertarianism, could be a step toward funding a non-taxing government.  I  like the idea off freedom feeding off the corpse of statism for a change instead of the other way around.

I like it, thank you.

But the dynamics of rules are not a white or European thing; they're a universal fact of life.

I believe the reason why European Christians became the first beneficiaries of the city-on-the-hill imperial system (as opposed to the Persian, Chinese, or any other imperial system which were based somewhat more bluntly on force) was an accident of geopolitics, rather than anything to do with European-ness.

Europe was a naturally pluralistic place, where not one language, fiefdom, or even religion could dominate the rest.  (Back when religion mattered, the different Christian sects might as well have been different religions.)  Under such conditions, any global empire must be a stitching-together of different forces, some of which must include the followers of objectively productive creeds (such as rule-following and absolute-truth-seeking.)

This was as opposed to, say, the Chinese empire.  Even though the emperor was still obligated to serve the best interests of his people, his heavily monopolized power meant that this obligation was even more theoretical than has been the European-American case.

Everything is religion.  Never mind Hinduism or Christianity.  You might think your capitalism or socialism or libertarianism is pure logic.  You might think your attachment to dollars or gold or Bitcoin is pure logic.  All are religions.

A religion tends to belittle its competition by pointing out that they're based on faith.  All are based on faith.

Religion is everywhere and can't be wiped out, the reason being it's the 'killer app' of humanity.  It is what enables strangers to co-operate and build powerful and big organizations and structures.  (It was what enabled Homo sapiens to commit genocide against all other humans starting about 70K years ago -- humans who didn't have religion and thus could only work in small bands.)  It's the only thing proven to do so.  We have to deal with this reality, for better or worse.
This is all nonsense lizard, and you know it.

So why Canada over Wyoming or Kansas or some other State?

It's easier to keep a balance between socialism and ruin in weird hybrid nations that don't have to spend much at all on defense.

Even at a sharp discount, if Canada bought our military hardware, the balance would tip and the weird hybrid socialism would drive Canada to ruin.

Socialism everywhere is constantly propped up by something. If not, it fails.

I do feel sorry for the various folks who's lively hood depended on Tourism to Notre Dame.  Something like 30k visitors a day must have translated to a lot of customers for the local restaurants and shops.  There's gonna be a few that go out of business.

Probably not, its France, I sure the government will pay for their up keep during the rebuilding.

Fine, you think the study of political economy is a religion.

OK, Marxist economics is a religion, because it's not based on facts or reality but rather on faith in things like "historical determinism" which is nonsensical dogma, but that doesn't make all economic theories into religions...
