Not all of them...

Anyway, I'm more worried about children who want an education not being able to get one, and I know that's a problem with huge numbers of children in our public education "system", especially in the "progressive" big city ghettos.

That's two things the government needs to stop doing, creating and supporting ghettos, and messing with education.

If education is tax supported, government runs it by definition.

Judge Reinaker: (angrily) "What do you think you're doing pulling me over?  For blowing my horn?"

Officer:                  "Sir, go back into your car - I'll be with you in a second."

Judge Reinaker:     "You better check the registration on these plates, mister!"

*Officer checks registration and walks back to the judge's car*

Officer:                   "Have a good day, Judge."

And just like that, this traffic stop is complete.

What is significant here is how asshole and arrogant the judge is.  He certainly knows that he is being recorded.  This means he is securely part of a group that is well protected.

Yes, that is the premise of this thread.  The Judge has special protection under the law because he's part of the judicial system.

People are NOT equal in the eyes of the law.

Governments will always devise ways to deprive an honest man of his money or property, and claim that it's legal.

They are equal under the law but not in the eyes of the administrators of the law and it has always been that way.  By the way, I know an L.A. County judge that could probably get you a concealed carry license if you don't already have one.  Let me know.

He owes me because I taught him how to fence and got him good enough to get rated.

Nonsense. My local property taxes go to support the fire department too. Do you think the fire department is "government run"?

It depends on the officer who stops the judge, and the police department the officer works for.

People are equal in the eyes of the law, but not always in the eyes of other people...

Unless of course it's one of those laws written to be discriminatory. Angry

Thanks, I didn't know you said this when I posted the same thought.

"I scored a touch."
"No you didn't."
"Do you know who I am?"
"Shit! Okay, you scored a touch."

This moral relativism of yours is exactly what lets government take this freedom, then that freedom, until we have lost them all.

I'm just joking. Judges can't do in sports what they can do to that cop.
